Mcleod Ganj:
When Dalai Lama arrived here with many refugees here in 1959 and they made life here more active. Many Tibetan settlements having many rehabilitation centers and education centers can be seen in and around Mcleadganj. Very soon Dharamshala rose to fame all over the world and eminent personalities started arriving here. It soon managed to emerge as a popular and famous Buddhist centre.

Bhagsunag Fall:
This fall is famous all over the world for its old temple, waterfalls, a fresh water spring and slate quarries. It is a major attractions of Mcleodganj. You can also take a dip in the chilly water of fall.

St. John's Church:
It lies in the forest area which lies between Forsyth Ganj and Mcleod Ganj. There is a monument which has been dedicated to Lord Elgin. It has been adorned with beautifully carved spotted glass windows and you will also come across a Christian cemetery around it.

Triund Trek Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh:
It is situated at a height of 2,827 meters. You will be able to see the snowline which starts just 5 km. from Triund. The spot is able to provide you with a beautiful view of the valley below and the snow above. It serves as a popular trekking and picnic spot.

Kareri Lake Trek:
It is a beautiful lake which is surrounded by Oak and Pine trees and green meadows making it an excellent place to visit.

Dal Lake:
It is situated amidst the hills and deodar tress. It is only 11 km. from Lower Dhramshala. It serves as a point to begin excursion and trekking tours. It is located next to the Tibetan children's village. When you are here, it will be possible for you to have a walk around the lake. The lake is considered to be sacred as it has a small Shiva temple on its banks. In September you can enjoy its colorful fairs.

Between March and October month is the best time to visit Masroor Rock Temple each year.
